About the RoleWe seek an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Estimator to lead the preparation and delivery of estimates, budgets, and cost plans for civil foundation projects. In this role, you will be a key part of a high-performing team and contribute to the continued success of large-scale projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, industry expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively across project teams to ensure accurate and competitive project costing.
DutiesDevelop, manage, and present comprehensive estimates, budgets, and cost plans for civil foundation, retention and piling projects.Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency in project costing.Analyse project specifications, tender documents, and schedules to produce precise cost estimates.Participate in cost-saving strategies without compromising project timelines or quality.Skills and ExperienceCompletion of a qualification in Estimation, such as a Certificate IV in Building Project Support (Estimator) or a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.5-10 + years experience as an estimator within the civil construction industry, or 3+ years as a Senior Estimator.Proficiency in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong understanding of TMR road specifications and piling requirements for road projects to ensure compliance and accuracy in cost estimates.Strong analytical and numerical skills, with meticulous attention to detail.Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders.Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with a commitment to quality.CultureThis company prides itself on a supportive and collaborative team culture, placing high value on long-term staff retention and career development.
