Senior Estimator

Job Description This building company has been in Sydney for over 10 years. They build across Sydney, Canberra, and the Hunter/Newcastle areas. They have a growing team in the estimating department and require someone to help oversee all work and staff performance.

Benefits: Established business and large office space Finalists for several HIA awards for their display homes Growth opportunity as the company develops and expands Diverse portfolio of work in investment and project home building Friendly, experienced, and professional upper management Key Responsibilities: Lead a team of Estimators in both sales and production estimating Negotiate with suppliers as per company policies Oversee and check team's work Workflow management Liaise with site staff and internal drafting and pre-construction teams Manage client expectations by occasionally liaising with them Analyze tender submissions and prepare documentation to suppliers Maintain preferred suppliers agreements Review supply rates with bill of quantity structures Work with site staff to ensure smooth running of projects Requirements for the role: Experience working for a residential builder (custom or volume) Experience working on house & land packages, spec homes, contract housing, or similar Databuild experience (or similar estimating experience) A solid understanding of the Australian Building Industry A flexible approach to work and a willingness to be involved in growing the business #J-18808-Ljbffr
