Due to a high demand in project work and the growing need for quoting and estimating expertise, we're looking for a Senior Estimator/Contracts Administrator to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will manage client interactions, oversee contract administration, handle variations, and ensure projects are set up and tracked effectively. Working closely with our General Manager, Operations Manager, and Project Managers, you'll play a key role in delivering outstanding results and exceptional customer service.
About the Role
As the Senior Estimator, you will be the go-to person for client interactions, contract management, variation handling, and project setup. This role will see you working closely with the estimating team, our General Manager, Operations Manager, and Project Managers to ensure projects are set up, tracked, and completed efficiently, all while delivering outstanding customer service.
What You'll Be Doing Client Interaction & Quoting:
Act as the first point of contact for clients requesting quotes.Assess project requirements and coordinate meetings between clients and the General Manager.Project Setup & Administration:
Contract review, negotiation and set-up.Manage and maintain Simpro as the central source of all project details, quotes, and contracts.Conduct quantity take-offs using Bluebeam and ensure all documentation is accurate.Review and verify project scopes, compliance, and insurance requirements.Variation Management:
Communicate and negotiate variations with clients, ensuring accurate documentation in Simpro.Collaborate with the Operations team to implement approved changes during project execution.Operational Support:
Serve as the primary administrative liaison between clients and internal teams.Provide updates on project progress and track client payments.What We're Looking For Must have experience 3+ years quoting and estimating on roofing, materials and labour etcExpert knowledge of Simpro software would be highly desirable.Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role within the roofing and building industry.Proficiency in quantity take-offs and familiarity with Bluebeam Revu.Strong understanding of construction processes, terminology, and contracts.Experience in roof plumbing or commercial construction a must.Proven ability to negotiate, track, and manage contracts and variations.Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.Outstanding customer service and communication abilities.Ready to Apply?
