Senior Estimator - Commercial Construction Harrison-Barratt Group is representing a reputable Commercial builder operating in the tier 2 space in helping secure an experienced Senior Estimator into their team in Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct onsite visits where required to better understand onsite operations. Budget management experience, including good pricing skills across all trades and the ability to identify opportunities for cost improvements. Manage the full tender process, ensuring client deadlines are adhered to and attend site/tender inspections. Review and understand all tender documentation, complete take-offs and setup estimate plan for each project and raise RFIs as required. Administer and comply with head contract requirements working closely with project teams. Obtain quotes from relevant suppliers and trades for specific work. Seeking out, reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing final build proposals to required margin rate. Qualifications: 5+ years of estimating experience in construction, with a focus on commercial, industrial, and residential sectors. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficient in estimating software and tools.
