We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Environmental Scientist to join a national, multidisciplinary consulting firm located in the beautiful city of Adelaide. The role can be based in either Adelaide or Melbourne. Our client is a leading engineering and environmental consulting firm, working on a wide range of projects. Job Description:
As a Senior Environmental Scientist (Contaminated Land), you will be responsible for overseeing complex projects involving contaminated sites across Australia while providing technical guidance on hydrogeological investigations, risk assessments, site characterisation studies and developing effective strategies for cost-effective solutions that meet industry standards.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in environmental science, geology, or related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in contaminated land consulting.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and standards related to contaminated land.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- Experience in mentoring junior staff and managing client relationship

Skills:
The ideal candidate would possess skills such as;
- Strong analytical abilities including data analysis techniques used during characterization investigation work plans,
- Excellent report writing competencies required when preparing regulatory reports detailing findings from investigative works completed over timeframes ranging between short term spot sampling events through longer-term multi-phase high-resolution site investigations
