Fyfe is a multi-disciplinary consultancy providing comprehensive engineering, environmental, planning, and surveying services throughout Australia. Fyfe works with a wide range of clients in the Energy & Resources, Infrastructure, and Property sectors to provide high quality, commercially pragmatic solutions with a strong focus on client service and delivery. Our national environment group is looking to appoint a Senior Environmental Scientist or Engineer to join our Adelaide team.
The role will be predominately office-based with field work as required. You will have a strong understanding of contaminated land principles and local regulatory compliance. Key activities will include project, staff, and client management associated with site contamination assessments and remediation projects. Proposal preparation, technical reporting, as well as technical input in relation to your areas of specialization will also form a key part of the role.
Requirements A tertiary degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Environmental Management, or a related qualification.Demonstrated ability to work directly with clients and other key stakeholders to ensure thorough environmental advice and successful project delivery.Experience in a similar position.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Flexibility to undertake field work as may be required.Strong team player.Experience in training and mentoring more junior staff.Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
