About the Role Providing leadership in the areas of environmental site investigations, hydrogeological investigations, risk assessment, remedial excavations, operation of in-situ remedial treatment systems, compliance auditing, groundwater treatment design, implementation and optimization.
Assessing work against guidelines, objectives and specifications, ensuring the quality of work outputs.
Performing senior technical reviews on all stages of contaminated sites reports.
Direct and perform highly complex or specialized aspects of the work while leading project managers and overseeing projects involving multiple service areas and subcontracts as well as stakeholder, client and/or schedule challenges.
Develop and maintain key client relationships and support growth of the team and business.
Maintaining and growing your industry and professional knowledge and leadership skills to ensure Ausenco Sustainability remains ahead of the marketplace.
Seeking out and acquiring new business opportunities and acting to identify opportunities to expand the scope of existing projects.
Preparing and delivering presentations to clients and prospective clients.
Promoting and maintaining a positive work environment through a culture of teamwork and cooperation within the office, region, and between other areas of the organization.
Training, growing and building responsibility in junior staff members in their technical skills, knowledge, and reporting.
Qualifications About You You are recognized as an expert in environmental site assessment and remediation, with a dedication to and passion for your discipline. You are entrepreneurial in nature, have previous experience in leading diverse range of complex projects, and are a client-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced team-approach environment.
You have a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or Science related field.
Professional registration or the ability to obtain registration in BC as a P.Eng., P.Geo., P.Ag., or RP.Bio is required.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in contaminated sites.
Expert understanding of contaminated sites regulatory requirements in BC.
Hold or eligibility for a CSAP designation in as asset.
Exposure to a variety of projects, sectors, multiple clients, and various degrees of project complexity.
Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining a team of professionals to support projects and the business.
Is able to clearly express complex and challenging ideas, thoughts, and concepts; delivers information in a well-organized and engaging manner so that it is understood.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Proven ability to mentor and impart information, knowledge, and skills to Junior and Intermediate staff in the delivery of technical project work.

Salary range: $130,000 - $160,000
Expected Salary: Variation in salary is determined by factors such as qualifications, relevant years of experience, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
