Senior Environmental Scientist – Clm & Remediation

Up and coming environmental (Contam & Remediation) consultancy.4 years operating, already with 13 staff across NSWPlenty of flexibility in how you work & what you work on.Senior Environmental Scientist to join an up & coming Environmental Consultancy. This role is ideal for someone looking for more opportunity than they are currently being given, someone who is looking to make their mark.
The Role: We need someone to lead 2 juniors in Sydney, continue developing them up and slowly grow the office as the work comes in.
You link in with the wider team in NSW, where the Director isn't in your office but has a heritage in Sydney and hence work comes in the door quite freely. He is ex-top-tier Global Engineering Consultancy so work is at a good level.
For a Team Leader, you will remain hands on and in the field with the juniors. Something you don't get when you progress in the bigger firms. For its size, this company has done quite well. Large majority of staff sit in Nth NSW but the focus now is to get Sydney to 5 or so ppl.
Projects: Anything from Tank Pulls, Service Stations, Groundwater Remediation, Head Contractor for soil removal, friable asbestos in demolitions, hot spot remediation, Landfill monitoring, and regular phase 1 & 2 and RAP work.ISO Accredited company (9001, 14001, 45001) which helps with certain work tenders and puts them at a good level in the market in terms of qualityWhilst this is a Contaminated Sites focussed role, LAA work comes up so this accreditation is handy if you have it (or able to get it).They own and operate their own drilling rigs also.Who will this excite?
