We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Process Engineer to join our team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing water and wastewater treatment processes for PFAS, ammonia, and other heavy metals treatments.
This role involves a range of responsibilities from process design to fieldwork, and requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and hands-on experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES Design and development of skid-based wastewater treatment plants such as foam fractionation systems, air stripping processes, resin media processes, etc.
for PFAS, ammonia, metal ions, and other pollutant removal, including process flow diagrams and technical specifications.Create detailed CAD drawings for equipment and system layouts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with engineering standards.Oversee the assembly and installation of process equipment, ensuring all components are correctly fitted and operational.Obtain quotations for parts and materials from suppliers, place orders, and manage procurement processes to ensure timely delivery.Lead the commissioning of new process systems, including initial setup, calibration, and system validation.Conduct testing to verify system performance, develop and implement control programming for process automation and optimization.Prepare detailed tenders and proposals for potential projects, including technical descriptions, cost estimates, and project timelines.Conduct fieldwork for wastewater treatment processes, including system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting on-site.Participate in other wastewater treatment projects as assigned.EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, environmental engineering, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering.
Experience in wastewater treatment plant design fabrication is essential.Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Plant 3D) and control programming would be a bonus but not an essential requirement.Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage projects from conception through to commissioning and operation.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.Business Development: Prior experience in business development in related sectors, cost estimation for tendering will be highly regarded.Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and detailed technical reports and proposals.Field Work: Willingness to travel and perform fieldwork, including working at remote or industrial sites as required.International Travel: This role requires international travel.
