About the Role
Soil Conservation Service is part of DPIRD and supports local, state and commonwealth government agencies to build and rehabilitate the Australian environment by providing specialist end-to-end services in environmental consulting, conservation earthworks, program management, project delivery and support services.

SCS is seeking an environmental professional with experience in providing construction management services within a commercial business.
The role undertakes project management and support activities to contribute to the development and delivery of a range of environmental projects in the lower Hunter region.
The role involves monitoring project costs, assessing variations, maintaining project documentation, supporting and driving safe WHS practices including operational policy and procedure development and legislative reform within established objectives.
The role mentors junior staff to support and increase personal development and help drive project objectives.

About You Deep understanding of various construction techniques, materials, and best practices in the industry.
Proficiency in project management principles, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Comprehensive knowledge of local, state, and federal building codes, safety regulations, and environmental laws.
Experience in implementing and monitoring quality control processes to ensure that construction meets the required standards and specifications.
About the Team Work will be carried out within a team environment within the Newcastle region.
The team you will be joining has a diverse skill set delivering environmental and natural resource projects.
