Senior Environmental Consultant Job details Posted 23 January 2025 LocationSydney Job type Sectors CGC Cover Reference3873553 Job description This role is ideally suited for the Senior Environmental Consultant with a consulting background working on infrastructure projects.The role: Lead and deliver environmental assessments, impact statements and environmental management and monitoring plans for infrastructure projects.
Provide expert advice on environmental permitting for infrastructure projects, including regulatory compliance, and approvals processes at the local, state, and federal levels.
Coordinate with internal and external design teams, and project stakeholders including end clients.
Train and mentor junior staff in the delivery of environmental studies and processes.
Support business development activities including tender responses and building client relationships.
Engage in learning and development to upskill your capabilities.
Participate in team building initiatives and contribute to a culture of trust, excellence, and care.
Contribute to industry research and initiatives.
You will have: · Min 10 years consulting experience.
Those with 15+ years experience encouraged to apply· Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science/ Engineering or Natural Resource Management· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially report writing.Flexible work arrangements offered with WFH.
