Environment & Sustainability Consulting (Consulting & Strategy)
LRM is seeking a highly motivated and experienced candidate to join our expanding Environmental Division. The ideal candidate will bring their advanced technical expertise and apply a diverse skillset to meet the requirements of our established client base. The role will require the candidate to have a foundation of established fieldwork skills, excellent reporting and reviewing skills and consolidating project management skills.
LRM has a large, established client base who operate within a diverse range of sectors. Our works include:
Preliminary and Detailed Environmental Site Investigations Pre-purchase and divestment due diligence assessments Environmental Management Plans and Systems Soil Classification and Disposal Works Landfill Environmental Management Environmental Gas Assessments Groundwater Monitoring and Well Installation UST Removal and Validation works Project Management of Environmental Operations The ideal candidate will have experience within the above works. Applicants with additional experience in geotechnical and ecology sectors are strongly encouraged to apply.
Role Activities
The ideal candidate will be able to effectively perform the following tasks within the role:
Produce detailed high-quality reports regarding a range of environmental operations. Possess great communication skills between you, the LRM Team, and the client. Provide quality reviews of produced reports and provide constructive feedback to authors. Undertake site supervision works, including fieldwork and coordinate consultants and contractors to achieve sitework objectives. Undertake basic project management operations including client consultation, resource management, and contractor engagement. Within the role, there is also limited scope to assist the team leader/division head in the formation and implementation of procedures, policies, and practice.
To be successful within the role, candidates are expected to:
Possess a Bachelor of Environmental Science, Engineering or associated degree with a minimum of 5+ years of experience. Possess strong environmental consulting, reporting, and fieldwork skills. Communicate effectively with co-workers, contractors, and relevant project stakeholders. Possess a strong commitment to safety and the implementations of OHS&E protocols within the working environment. Possess a driver's license with a good driving record. Undertake travel at times throughout Australia, when required. To Apply
