MEC Mining is a consultancy that provides integrated mining and geotechnical engineering, geology, and environmental services. Our clients range from private groups to ASX-listed companies throughout Australia & globally.Role:As a suitably qualified and experienced environmental professional, you will be working as part of our environmental team. Reporting to the Manager of Environment and responsible for:Responsibilities:Scope and manage multiple technical studies;Prepare, compile and edit environmental technical studies, deliver Environmental Impact Assessments and other technical and advisory reports for clients;Coordinate and prepare mine rehabilitation and closure planning documents;Research and interpret legislative requirements and processes;Work within multidisciplinary teams to meet specified project goals;Administer contracts and scopes of work with other consultants and contractors;Develop and maintain relationships with key project contacts.Qualifications & Experience Required:The Senior Consultant of Environment is expected to hold at least 5-6 years or more experience in an environmental field.
