Role Summary Reporting to the Head of Environmental Services, we are seeking a Senior Environmental Consultant based from our Sydney office. This presents an excellent opportunity to join a global business and is well suited to an Environmental Consultant with experience in construction environmental management to service existing and potential work for existing clients.
Key Responsibilities Advising on environmental and planning approval pathways and compiling pre- and post- approval documentation for infrastructure, major projects, State Significant Infrastructure and Development. Providing environmental and approvals support to infrastructure construction contractors through preparation of construction environmental management plans. Supporting and preparing environmental impact assessments, particularly for public authority approvals. About You Qualifications, knowledge and experience in the following will be highly regarded:
Formal relevant qualifications in environmental engineering, environmental science, environmental planning, or related disciplines. Demonstrated experience in the preparation of pre- and post- environmental approval documentation for infrastructure projects, primarily in NSW, with a focus on (rail, road, energy, airports, waste). Strong knowledge of State and Federal environmental legislation, as well as demonstrable knowledge of environmental mitigation and protection planning measures. Environmental auditing and compliance reporting. Waste classification and contamination assessment. Environmental feasibility studies and due diligence assessments.
