Our capable and highly experienced Sydney team is looking for new team members in response to our growing portfolio of projects and our internal growth plans.About the roleWe are seeking a Senior to Associate level Environmental Consultant with 5+ years' experience to join our growing team and to help deliver a growing and varied pipeline of exciting projects.You will manage and deliver assessment and approvals projects for our clients, including the preparation of proposals, referral and approval documentation, internal reviews, schedule and budget management, and subcontractor and client liaison.Tasks and responsibilitiesThe delivery of high-quality approval applications and technical reports to support environmental and planning approval requirements.Prepare proposals, referral and approval documentation.Schedule, budget and project management.Liaison with subcontractors and clients.Work closely with State and Commonwealth regulatory agencies.About youA degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, Environmental Engineering or a related discipline.Experience (5+ years) of environmental assessment and approvals work in NSW with strong working knowledge of relevant legislation, policy and guidance.Environmental compliance and management experience in construction and/or operational settings would be highly regarded.Proven ability to manage clients, projects and teams, ensuring that projects can be delivered on time, on budget and to a high standard.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Desire to build networks with some business development experience.Experience of projects involving process industries and air quality, dust, odour and noise assessments will be highly regarded.If this role sparks your interest but you don't meet every single requirement, we still encourage you to apply.
