Senior Environmental Assessment Officer, P03 (Pumped Hydro Energy Storage (PHES))The Senior Environmental Assessment Officer PO3 (PHES) will work to assess and coordinate DESI's participation in the pre work and assessment stages of pumped hydro energy storage (PHES) projects under the guidance of the Principal Environmental Assessment Officer AO7 (PHES). These projects are likely to be controlled actions under the Commonwealth's Environmental Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999, with major works assessment being via the EIS process under the State Development and Public Works Organisation Act 1971. The position will work closely with the Office of the Coordinator-General to facilitate DESI's involvement to achieve deliverables within agreed timeframes.Applications to remain current for 12 months.Occupational group:
