Our Brisbane based Environmental Team requires an experienced Senior Environmental Approvals Specialist.
This role will balance commercial, business development, and technical work and reward you for your experience in delivery of high-quality outcomes for our customers.
The Senior Environmental and Sustainability Approvals Specialist is responsible for contributing to all aspects of sustainability and environmental approvals to meet the technical and commercial expectations of Kent in support of its clients.
In this role, some of the following duties you will undertake but not limited to: Extensive experience coordinating regulatory approvals in the energy and/or resources sector.
Undertaken projects in EIS, engineering and construction phases.
Application of and compliance with Australian Environmental legislation in Queensland and other jurisdictions.
Advanced understanding of regulatory frameworks and jurisdictions.
High level of renewables, energy, oil and gas or resources sector experience.
Advanced government and stakeholder communication and liaison skills.
High-level report writing, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
Project management and leadership experience.
Experience in coordinating scopes and delivering quality outcomes for customers.
Proven ability to supervise a small team of professionals.
Proven track record in client management, business development, costing and managing proposals.
Supervision of technical subconsultants.
