You will work with the project delivery team to ensure adherence to environmental legislation, regulations, and contractual obligations.Responsibilities of the role include:Take leadership responsibility for site environmental managementContribute to development of work methods and rolling short term construction programs and plan daily/weekly production workBuild strong internal and external stakeholder relationshipsIdentify and mitigate risks prior to works commencing, communicate with and engage relevant stakeholders to control risk and contribute to build a risk management cultureConsult with workers to identify opportunities for efficiencies and streamlining of environmental processesComplete field-based reviews and inspectionsGather and listen to feedback from stakeholders and peer groups on ways to improve environmental programsWhat we are looking for:Significant experience in an Environmental role within the Construction industryTertiary qualifications in Environment or a related disciplineSkill in review of design documents, ability to understand drawings, provide constructability review and implement final design plansPeople and Performance Management of subcontractors, suppliers and direct labourA focus on solutions and the ability to empower others and drive positive project outcomesAs part of the team, you can help us transform lives.Your success is reflected in ours, so we're committed to being an employer of choice.
