About the Role
We are looking for experienced Senior Environmental Advisor to work on our public infrastructure project based in Armadale, Western Australia. This role will assist the Engineering team and be responsible for contributing to the project.
Key responsibilities
Promoting excellence in project environmental performance and implementing the project's environmental management system.
Delivery of proactive environmental programmes, sustainability initiatives and improvement initiatives on projects
Collaborating with supervisors, our client's team, project management team, employees and other personnel on the project to provide strategic advice on environmental outcomes, to ensure we meet our obligations and improve our environmental performance.
Coaching, mentoring and promoting excellence in project environmental matters
You will also review completed environmental records to ensure compliance with specified requirements, implement environmental monitoring programs and design environmental controls.
About you
You willhave an exceptional energyand drive to grow yourself, passion for environmental and sustainability performance and determination to succeed.
Relevant tertiary qualifications combined with 3-5 years' environmental industry experience, ideally in Australia
Team player with the ability to work collaboratively with the project team
You will be required to keep abreast of environmental legislation, compliance and reportingrequirements
