If you are passionate about driving change and improving environmental practices in the construction industry, we want you on our team!Your opportunity:As a Senior Environmental Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our Victorian environmental operations, ensuring compliance and providing training and development to our site-based teams.You will collaborate closely with our site teams to promote a culture of environmental responsibility, offering guidance and training to ensure compliance with local, state, and national environmental regulations across a number of Divisions and Projects.This position reports directly to the Environment and Sustainability Manager and is primarily based onsite, with Head Office based at our Campbellfield office in Melbourne.You will bring along the following:Hold a tertiary qualification in Environmental Science/Engineering or a related discipline.Over six years of hands-on experience in the civil construction industry.Utilise your sharp attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent task prioritisation skills to excel in high-pressure environments.Experience in the use of various environmental monitoring equipment and advanced technical skills.Demonstrate strong communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities, essential for success in a collaborative setting.Proficiencies in Microsoft Word, Excel, 3D Safety and/or PowerBi.Effective time management and being able to prioritise tasks, being organised and maintaining focus to maximise productivity.A valid Driver's Licence is essential, as this role requires regular travel to various project sites throughout Victoria.The role will be responsible for:Collaborate with HSE and project teams to ensure environmental compliance and foster a proactive culture.Train and mentor project teams on environmental best practices and regulatory requirements.Manage environmental monitoring programs and prepare detailed reports for regulatory bodies.Participate in Monthly Divisional meetings.Develop and implement response strategies for environmental incidents.Drive continuous improvement in environmental performance through innovation and digitalisation.Why Bild Group?Work with a company that values people, partnerships, progress and potential.Participate in a challenging and dynamic multifaceted role.Enjoy a collaborative culture, diverse set of projects, and the opportunity to lead from the front in shaping the future of the company.We offer:Employee Award and Recognition Program.Monthly team BBQs.Social and welcoming culture.Financial support for further training and education.Competitive remuneration and benefits.Ready to take the next step?
