Senior Environmental Adviser

Two Year Contract About the Role The Senior Environmental Adviser is responsible for ensuring activities of environmental significance are undertaken in compliance with the Environment Protection Act 1993 (EP Act), particularly within the petroleum industry. The role manages regulatory issues of a complex nature by leading, investigating, and providing expert specialist advice to internal and external stakeholders on assessment and compliance matters. The Senior Environmental Adviser provides assistance, guidance, and advice on a wide range of compliance matters with limited or no professional direction. The incumbent will contribute to the development, management, and maintenance of specialist projects which support the EPA's Strategic Priorities. The incumbent will be working closely with the Department for Energy and Mining under the Energy Resources Act 2000.
Essential Qualifications A degree in science, applied science, engineering, environmental management, or equivalent.
Remuneration PO3 ($101,285 - $107,078 per annum) + 11.5% superannuation paid to your choice of super fund.
