Environment & Sustainability Consulting (Consulting & Strategy) Full time The Company
A privately owned expert consultancy delivering a holistic and progressive approach to planning, environmental assessment and community engagement. This is a fully remote, boutique consultancy in which you can work from anywhere in NSW, but ideally Sydney or surrounds based for ease with on-site client visits.
The clientele is also varied. The team is currently assisting clients in a number of different sectors:
Renewable EnergyWasteData CentersRecyclingResources/Extractive IndustryWaterThis position is paying between $120k -$150k + super, depending on experience. This is a remote position, with employees getting together in a satellite office every 4-5 weeks for collaboration if required.
The Role
As the Senior Environmental Consultant, you will play a key role in the team responsible for planning, preparing and managing environmental assessments (REFs), environmental impact studies (EIS), and environmental management plans.
Other day to day duties will include:
Collaborating with project teams and monitoring project progressProviding expert technical advice and guidance on REFs and EIS'Part 4 AssessmentsEngaging with clients, stakeholders and regulatory authorities to understand project authorities and address environmental concernsBuilding and maintaining strong client relationshipsMentor and guide junior consultantsOther duties as necessaryEssential Requirements: Tertiary education in environmental sciences, environmental planning or related fieldMinimum 5 year's experience in environmental consulting, with a focus on environmental assessments, impact studies and management plansProven track record of managing and delivering projects across numerous sectorsExperience with NSW legislationStrong experience with full pre-approvals processWhy Apply?
