The Role: Reporting to the Manager Environment & Carbon , the purpose is to be responsible for the environmental components of day-to-day activity associated with execution of the Surat Gas Project (SGP) and Surat Gas Field operations. Activities include but not limited to environmental advice on projects such as land clearing for roads, gathering and well sites, and general environmental advice associated with gas production and power generating facilities. In addition, you will: Demonstrate a personal commitment to consistently role model Arrow's values, code of conduct, safety and the environment. Establish positive and productive working relationships with key stakeholders. Model inclusive behaviours to create a safe environment where different views and perspectives are encouraged and valued. Coordinate environmental regulatory requirements for Arrow's Energy's operating assets with relevant business units; including, but not limited to relevant Environmental Authority (EA) conditions. Provide technical and strategic advice relating to all environmental aspects of Arrow's operating assets and construction activities. Coordinate the environmental aspects of surveys, monitoring and assessments. Coordinate Environmental Incident response, management and investigations. Develop and implement the environmental component of the Line of Defence (LOD) 1 HSE Monitoring and Assurance Program across Arrow's operating assets. Coordinate LOD-2 (external audits) and relevant Regulator audits and compliance inspections. About You You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to contribute to a high performing-team with a second-to-none focus on safety and integrity. To be considered for this role, you will ideally have: Graduation in Science, Environment or Engineering Degree with environmental basis Experience in positions with 'hands on' environmental component. Experience in environmental matters related to the coal seam gas, petroleum, mining, manufacturing or related industry. Environmental soil and water sampling collection and data interpretation. Familiarity with field-based environmental operations and controls. Experience in environmental sampling, monitoring, compliance and reporting. Proven knowledge of environmental legislation. Supervising consultants/contractors and sub-contractors, project coordination and/or management. Experience in development and implementation of Environmental Management Systems.
