Senior English, Humanities and Philosophy Secondary TeacherPreshil is seeking a skilled, experienced and enthusiastic teacher with the ability to teach Senior English, Humanities and Philosophy in a progressive academic setting. This is a full-time ongoing position commencing in Term 1 2025. While some experience in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (DP) is preferred, teachers with Secondary School experience are encouraged to apply. Science as an additional method is desirable.Key Responsibilities:To have a strong background in English and Literature teachingBackground in teaching VCE English and/or International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program Language & Literature desirableBackground in teaching VCE or Diploma Program PhilosophyTo have a strong background in Humanities teachingTo demonstrate outstanding discipline-based knowledge and experience in teaching English, Literature, Humanities and Philosophy in the Middle Years and Senior yearsTo carry out professional duties and to have responsibility for assigned classes, co-curricular programs and individual studentsTo be responsible for the day-to-day learning and management of classes and the safety and welfare of the students, during on-site and off-site activitiesTo promote the aims and objectives of the school and maintain its philosophy of educationTo carry out other duties as directed by the PrincipalApplication Questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as a Secondary Teacher?
