The primary focus for this role is to ensure the delivery of technically excellent fire safety outcomes tailored to our client's needs. This role will involve leading the fire engineering input on complex projects, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated and integrated designs.
The Opportunity Lead all types of fire engineering projects, providing detailed technical input across a broad range of projects within the fire engineering business and related areas. Prepare, oversee and review project reports for clients summarising key issues and strategically advising on best outcomes under supervision. You will be accountable for significant and complex activities or projects. This will require you to be responsible for managing project staff, quality, delivery, predicting and planning future resources; You will represent Arup at internal and external meetings including leading approvals negotiations and be a competent communicator; Liaise with other disciplines within the region, providing particular expertise on fire engineering as appropriate; Is this role right for you? Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, specialising in Fire Engineering or similar area; Be fully aware of all legislative requirements and other regulations governing Occupational Health and Safety; Membership of relevant professional institutions/professional peer bodies or significant credit towards eligibility for membership; Chartered and Registered with relevant engineering authority body; Relevant industry experience in Fire Engineering within a consulting business environment; Prior experience in laboratories, data centres, infrastructure, warehouses, etc. What we offer you At Arup, we care about each member's success, so we can grow together.
