What we do Due to continued business growth and project wins the SMEC Darwin team has grown considerably over the past 3 years. We haveseveral opportunitiesforCivil Engineers - Water Infrastructure (2 - 10 years' experience),to initially work on a significant infrastructure project that will provide a long-term solution to supply more water to the Darwin region, the Adelaide River Off Stream Water Storage (AROWS) project.
For this project, we are seeking water infrastructure engineers with experience in pipeline design, pump station design or river intake design. You will work collaboratively with the Civil and Auxiliary project lead to progress the project to concept design.
You would play a key role in:
Technical delivery, project management and client relationship management across Water Infrastructure projectsStrong design experience for water infrastructure projectsContributing to bid preparation and providing technical input across all disciplinesEnsuring analysis and design tasks undertaken meet appropriate technical standards and the requirements of the client and SMECCollaborate with appropriate team members, contributors and stakeholders to maintain quality, timeliness and co-ordination of project deliverablesContribute to the commercial success of projects and the teamApply project management principles in carrying out assigned tasks and accomplish project deliverables to the required standard and in a timely mannerWith a track record of achievement in a similar role, you will have preferably gained your experience in an engineering design consultancy and have a passion for building trusted relationships to drive positive change and win new work.
