About the role:
Our Hobart Practice is currently offering a permanent position for a Senior Engineer - Structural.
The ideal candidate will possess significant design experience, excellent communication skills, and a strong desire to manage projects, lead initiatives, and mentor fellow engineers within the team.
This pivotal role involves supporting the Structures team in project management, workload delegation, and client interfacing.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Structural team and quickly gain exposure to projects and clients locally, as well as our team and projects across Australia.

Day-to-day you will be responsible for undertaking varied engineering tasks as part of a project team, successfully delivering to our clients' requirements.
You will have the opportunity to run projects independently and gain experience which will lead you to a more senior role.


We are looking for someone with ...
Bachelor's degree in Structural/Civil Engineering Typically, 6 - 10 years of relevant industry experience.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of relevant local and Australian standards and practices CPEng status is highly desirable Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse complex data and design solutions for various engineering challenges Strong attention to detail, precision in planning, design, and execution of projects.
Excellent communication skills, proficiency in conveying technical information effectively to all stakeholders.
