About the role
This role reports to Manager Engineering and is responsible for advancing Sewer and Stormwater management initiatives at the Council
Duties Conduct assessments and provide design recommendations of Stormwater infrastructureLead the development of strategies and programs for stormwater and overland flood infrastructure, including flood modelling and stormwater reticulation.Prepare and review Stormwater related design drawings.Collaborate with stakeholders teams to implement Stormwater management strategiesCreate reports, proposals, and recommendations to senior management, council members, and external agencies, advocating for effective Stormwater management solutions.Skills & experience Bachelor of Civil Engineering and extensive disciplined knowledge and relevant experience in civil engineeringDesign experience in flood modelling, stormwater reticulation and stormwater management plans7+ years experience in Stormwater managementProficiency in Water modelling Drains Music Stormwater softwareDrivers licenseStakeholder engagement
