As our new Senior Roads Engineer , you'll be a vital part of the team who are changing the way we design and deliver Roads and Highway projects around WA and within the wider Aurecon Business.
Your role will include: To successfully deliver Roads projects around Western Australia to Main Roads WA and Austroads design standards.
Manage a team of, or oversee inputs to and from designers, drafters and more junior engineers to successfully deliver these projects.
Look to develop relationships or strengthen existing relationships with key stakeholders to win and deliver work across WA, Have a confident understanding of local standards and regulations, including liaison with local Authorities, experience with Main Roads WA will be highly regarded, Collaborate within a multi-discipline global team to deliver high value outcomes for clients across a broad range of markets in the private and public sector Depending on the project and opportunity available, be part of the design team in any major project being delivered at the time, and undertake design as part of that team.
Mentor and guide more junior engineers and staff to share your knowledge and grow the next generation of engineers.

We look for people who have had a broad range of experiences throughout their career and can demonstrate how they have worked as part of a team to bring ideas to life.
As well as experience in a similar Roads and Highways engineering role, we are looking for: Experience working on the Main Roads WA Engineering Technical Services (ETS) panel Experience delivering road designs, working with road designers, drafters and engineers to achieve the project outcomes Experience in road / civil designing software: Open Roads Designer will be preferential, otherwise demonstrated experience in Civil 3d or 12d will be beneficial as well.
A relevant technical qualification and technical post tertiary qualifications.
Extensive post graduate engineering experience.
