As the Pacific Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for the optimum maintenance strategy proposal and expert technical support for the maintenance/engineering team in the Pacific.
You will also act as the Design Authority for Bulk and Onsite systems in the Pacific by providing support for the technical aspects of the supply of gases through bulk vessels and on-site generation equipment for non-standard customer installation projects whilst maintaining the highest safety and quality levels in line with the company objectives.
Work location is Melbourne, VIC but open to be based in any of the Air Liquide main offices across Australia. How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? Define, develop, control and continuously improve systems in order to drive compliance to IMS (Industrial Management System) requirements for the maintenance activities and act as a Maintenance Process Owner.
Oversight of standard on-site projects including management, budget control, and supplier selection and delivery deadlines.
Support Sales teams in defining scope of customer needs, creating offers and presenting to clients.
Develop and maintain the enterprise maintenance programs e.g.
CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System).
Develop maintenance cost management plan and budgets for Bulk and Onsite Installations.
Analyse required changes to equipment and procedures in order to achieve safer and/or efficient performance; focus not only on bulk vessel installations and onsite units but also other areas of BOS (Bulk On-Site) business line.
Drive and follow up technical audits both internal and external.
Ensure Maintenance process performance data is collected, analysed and reviewed; formulate strategies and process improvements.
Contribute to the achievement of "Zero accidents" through leadership, active participation, planning and follow up for regional activities within the focus areas.
Are you a MATCH? Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
10+ years of experience in the gas industry.
10+ years of experience in cryogenics.
Technical expertise in any of the following areas: HyCO technology and operations, operation of onsite gas units, healthcare gas operations (medical facilities and hospitals installations).
Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present and communicate effectively.
Has innovative thinking and able to influence leadership.
Ability to balance competing priorities and manage multiple projects in parallel.
Can-do attitude with initiative to drive change and take ownership of change.
