This role requires a seasoned engineer with a strong background in engineering and a proven track record of success.Location:This role will be located at any of our capital city offices, with preference for Sydney or Adelaide, but may require travel.The Role:An opportunity exists for a Senior Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for developing Naval Classification Rules and implementing the new Naval Classification Framework. The ideal candidate will have experience in engineering, with a strong technical background.Develop and implement Naval Classification Rules to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.Collaborate with stakeholders, including vessel owners, operators, and classification societies, to ensure smooth transitions to the new classification system.Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement.Stay up-to-date with new developments in marine engineering and classification systems.What's needed?Ideally you will have previous experience and the following skillsets:Baseline Australian security clearance with the ability to apply for NV1.Bachelor's degree in Engineering.Experience in Defence Maritime Environment, with a focus on classification and regulatory compliance.Strong technical knowledge of ship design, construction, and operation.Experience with naval classification rules and standards, including BV, LR and DNV GL.This role offers more than building a resume—it's a chance to leave your mark.
