ABOUT THE POSITION Our business seeks an experienced and talented Senior Engineer IT Infrastructure to join our team and contribute to TLEA's exciting global vision on a permanent full-time basis, working in our office located in Kwinana. The successful applicant will be responsible to primarily build, maintain and ensure the ongoing performance, security, reliability, testing and management of the entire company, IT and OT core network and server infrastructure. This role will also provide Level 3 support to the IT Service Desk and business personnel. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Assist Level 1 and 2 support staff with incidents and service requests Provide 3rd level support on any incidents assigned Provide Level 1 / 2 support staff full updates on resolutions to assist training and knowledge sharing Perform after hours support, ServiceDesk escalation, upgrades and maintenance Availability is to be at all times (excluding any leave) Ensure daily operation of the entire core infrastructure (corporate and process control systems) Ensure regular system administration functions are carried out Ensure the maintenance of security and integrity of all core systems Ensure the maintenance of user access rights and group policies Ensure all suitable and current software patches required are applied Log and follow up on all system errors as reported by server logs Proactive identification of potential network issues, research and provision of solutions Maintain all security and integrity checks for all core system applications Ensure regular backup of critical systems plus all company data Deploy and manage new technologies deemed applicable to the organisation Ensure the maintenance of internal and external connectivity to all core systems Work with the applications teams or other internal teams to house and manage all core business or operational applications Complete any project work assigned by manager Develop and manage project work when assigned as the lead by manager Document and implement changes or improvements to infrastructure and systems Ensure adequate capacity (space, power) for all systems Ensure no downtime or business impact due to lack of capacity Provision additional capacity ahead of time Develop and maintain all core documentation of the infrastructure and networks ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS High level knowledge of Windows Server Operating Systems High level knowledge of Microsoft Technologies (including Active Directory, SQL, Print, File Server, Exchange, Office365 Suite, Azure AD, Security & Compliance) High level knowledge of Major Virtualisation Platforms (HyperV, VMWare) Familiar with VxRail. High level knowledge of Infrastructure hardware (Server, Storage, Backup) High level knowledge of Network Concepts (Firewall, Switching, Routers, Gateways) Familiar with Cisco & Fortinet High level knowledge of Microsoft SQL & Other Database platforms High level knowledge of common hardware technologies (desktops, laptops, tablets) Proficient Knowledge of Project & Change Management Proficient knowledge – Scripting technologies Proficient knowledge - Identity Management, Multi-Factor Authentication Proficient knowledge – Patching technologies Proficient knowledge – Monitoring systems (SIEM) 10+ years' experience in similar role and organisation HOW DO I APPLY?
