You will be working in a fast paced and agile team, contributing to major transformation programs and supporting the division's core systems.We are seeking a hands-on, full stack Engineer to build, design, maintain and test for the development of our technology used by Digital Consumer Finance Technology Team.
You will be engaging with multiple stakeholders and be an expert in your domain whilst still supporting the wider engineering community.Your responsibilities will include:Design, Implement, and maintain micro service (API) using Spring-Boot.Design and develop user interfaces for customer-facing applications using React JS.Write clean, modular, maintainable code using modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries.Understanding of end-to-end application performance and optimization techniques and tools.Implement responsive designs with reusable and scalable UI components.Problem-solving and debugging skills.Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices of UI developmentCollaborate with service owners to understand the requirements and translate them into technical user stories.What's in it for me?You'll play a significant part of the future of a business that has been around for over 200 years.
