Senior Engineer, Data Platforms

The role of Senior Engineer, Data Platforms, has been created within their Technology Department to develop Australian Cricket's data platforms and architecture, working with modern tools and a growth mindset.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
Collaborate with third-party providers and internal teams to design and implement efficient data pipelines for Customer Growth analytics
Write scalable code to solve complex problems using a data-driven approach
Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding of new technologies with a focus on Data Fabric and Machine Learning
Manage and engage stakeholders to prioritize strategic or customer problems
Continuously improve accuracy and performance of code

This role requires you to have:
4+ years in Data Engineering
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
Strong commercial mindset
Experience with Microsoft Data Technologies – SQL, Synapse, PowerBI, Machine Learning, Data Factory, Fabric, Function Apps
Developing code in languages such as SQL, Python, R, or C#
Effective time management
Strong stakeholder relationship skills
