Senior Engineer - Aqua Project

Due to business growth, Aqua Corp is currently seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to work on a high-profile transport project.
This position will initially be based in Melbourne and, following completion of the local project, may involve redeployment to other projects across Australia.
Due to the nature of the work on this project, a solid background working on transport and main roads projects is essential.

Responsibilities:Ensuring accurate information is provided in the cost forecasting process, inclusive of accurate forecast of costs to complete and production progress when working on projects.Preparation of budgets and monitoring budgets versus expenditure on various projects as needed.Assisting the estimating team with tenders.Skills and Experience:Tertiary qualifications in civil engineering (e.g., Bachelor of Civil Engineering).At least 10 years of experience in civil projects with a solid understanding of transport and main roads, traffic management, and leading a team of experienced Project Engineers.Thorough knowledge of project financial management, forecasting, procurement, design, and contracts management functions across similar size projects.Ability to secure needed support and development for individuals within the team and lead consultation with management to enhance productivity and maintain team morale effectiveness in a project environment.We are seeking someone who has the potential to be a future Project Manager and is capable of leading a team responsible for $30 million worth of work.
