About the role This position will play an important role in providing greater access to, and visibility of, tertiary education across the Tamworth region.
As Senior Engagement Coordinator, the position liaises with UNE's external stakeholders, including schools, industry and Government Departments across the region.
This position will identify and support the development of programs and opportunities that widen access to, and increase participation in, tertiary education through collaboration with the UNE academic community.
The Senior Engagement Coordinator will be responsible for identifying, championing and supporting UNE's outreach and engagement in the Tamworth region across schools, industry and Government.
This position will facilitate opportunities aligned with the UNE Tamworth Outreach and Engagement Strategy.
About you To be successful in this role, you will have: Demonstrated strong understanding of, and connection with, the Tamworth regional community A degree with relevant experience or extensive experience and specialist expertise in education/administrative field or equivalent experience/education/training Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Ability to liaise and negotiate with a broad range of stakeholders Ability to work within and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team Ability to coordinate multiple processes and prioritise tasks in a complex environment Sound decision-making capability About the Division The UNE Tamworth Campus is opening in 2027, expanding UNE's connection, education and support to the local community.
UNE is currently working closely with the Tamworth community and industry to plan for and develop the programs that will be delivered through UNE Tamworth Central.
