About the role This new position will play an important role in providing greater access to, and visibility of, tertiary education across the Tamworth region. As Senior Engagement Coordinator, the position liaises with UNE's external stakeholders, including schools, industry and Government Departments across the region. This position both identifies and supports the development of programs and opportunities that widen access to, and increase participation in, tertiary education through collaboration with the UNE academic community.
The Senior Engagement Coordinator will be responsible for identifying, championing and supporting UNE's outreach and engagement in the Tamworth region across schools, industry and Government, and will identify, develop and maintain relationship management processes and evaluation activities. This position will facilitate opportunities aligned with the UNE Tamworth Outreach and Engagement Strategy and provide high level advice to the Senior Manager, the Director, Metro and Regions and the Director, Place-based Education and Research on the implementation of the strategy.
