You will also have the opportunity to showcase your technical capability across a range of energy-based technologies and be able to promote technical excellence within the team. Our experience ranges from feasibility studies and planning, through design and supervision of construction.The OpportunityProvide technical support, leadership and peer review across the spectrum of energy projects.Provide technical input, primarily in the feasibility, front end engineering design, procurement and owners engineer project phases, for a range of energy technologies.Provide direct technical expertise to clients throughout the project lifecycle.Project management of complex energy projects.Liaise with other teams undertaking energy projects and providing technical support. This could include supporting due diligence projects from a technical perspective or providing advice on energy systems to clients in other business groups.Is this role right for you?Knowledge in several of the following areas at power plant and energy system level:Hydrogen systems, specifically green and blue hydrogen production.Ammonia production plant design, development and construction.Gas pipelines.Carbon Capture Storage.Energy from Waste.Knowledge and skills in the following project areas:Feasibility design.Concept design.Front end engineering design.Knowledge and skill in the following areas is advantageous:Battery Storage (and Energy Storage generally).Solar PV.Wind (onshore and offshore).Pumped Hydro.Heat Pumps and Chillers.Geothermal.Electricity Networks.Gas Networks.Biomass.Demonstrates a commitment to own professional development and brings wide and varied experience.Actively develops the knowledge, experience and skills of others, including those in other groups/offices.What we offer youAt Arup, we care about each member's success, so we can grow together.
