Power Generation & Distribution (Mining, Resources & Energy) Full time The Opportunity

We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Energy Analyst to join us in our Market Services team in Brisbane, QLD on a Permanent Full Time Basis.
Working as part of a small power commercial operations team, you'll be responsible for managing the daily execution of obligations associated with gas supply, gas transportation and power purchase agreements for APA's power generation assets.
Key Responsibilities Daily gas management for APA's gas transportation and gas supply agreements to support APA's electricity generation assets.Help develop and maintain systems and processes to support management of APA's power purchase agreements, gas transportation and supply agreements.Daily execution of contractual and regulatory obligations for APA's power generation assets.Your background Ability to work shift hours including on-call, weekend and public holidays as required to support commercial operations for APA's power assets.
(Required)Proven trading, commercial and contract management experience in the energy sector.Tertiary qualifications in Business, Law, Economics, Engineering, Commerce or Finance and/or relevant work experience.Strong analytical skills and ability to assimilate complex issues and concepts.Proven experience in communicating with internal and external stakeholders regarding matters impacting the gas and power portfolio.Possess a commercial-oriented mindset to recognise, evaluate and capitalise on commercial opportunities, demonstrate numerical proficiency and an analytical approach, and adept at tackling intricate challenges.Working at APA
