The Role
As a Senior Employee Relations Specialist you will be responsible for providing specialist advice on complex industrial and employee relations matters, including compliance with the University's enterprise agreements, the Fair Work Act, and other applicable regulatory instruments.
You will play a significant role in ensuring ECU's industrial and pay compliance.

Key role accountabilities include: Providing high level, specialist advice, case management and guidance to internal stakeholders on a wide range of complex workplace relations issues, including the management of misconduct and substandard performance, grievances, and conflict resolution.Developing policies and procedures in accordance with University priorities, including education programs and information tools to ensure compliance with legislative obligations and the continual improvement of internal employment practices and standards.Providing a lead role in enterprise bargaining negotiations, including drafting agreement provisions and developing bargaining plans aligned with the strategic direction of the University and ensuring compliance with legislation.About you
