The purpose of this position is to support the Manager Employee Relations to deliver services to a large and complex hospital and health service, including the management of significant, high risk and/or complex industrial relations and employee relations matters.

Remuneration package of up to $148,322 p.a., comprising base salary range of $121,360 - $129,998 p.a.
(AO6), recreational leave loading (17.5%), and employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%).

About the role Apply best practice industrial relations (IR) strategies, frameworks and tools in providing high quality IR advisory and support services, including delivering IR advice on issues of a significant, high risk or complex nature to the Senior Leadership Team, the broader Human Resource (HR) portfolio, including Human Resource Business Partner team and the HR Hub, and employees within the Townsville Hospital and Health Service (THHS).Maintain current knowledge and understanding of state and national health policy and current issues facing the public health sector, particularly as they relate to the workforce and the THHS.Review and support implementation of quality and policy/EB aligned policies, procedures and processes for the THHS under the guidance of the Manager Employee Relations.Role requirements Whilst not mandatory, possession of a tertiary qualification in industrial relations or human resource management would be highly desirable.Divers Licence: This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate license endorsement to operate this vehicle is required.
Proof of this endorsement must be provided prior to the commencement of duty.Working with Townsville HHS
