About our opportunity:
Team Nova is a Major Service Provider (MSP) to the Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) within the Australian Department of Defence. Team Nova is committed to growing the capacity of CASG and industry to deliver on the Integrated Investment Program. We have commenced multiple long term Integrated Work Packages (IWP) in Joint, Land and Aerospace Systems Divisions of CASG.
As a result, we have an immediate need for a Senior EMI/EMC Engineer. As a Senior EMI/EMC Engineer you will experience with Electro-Magnetic Interference (EMI)/Electro-Magnetic Compatibility (EMC) and/or TEMPEST tasks associated with the propagation and susceptibility in variable electro-magnetic environments (EMEs). The required tasks may include:
Conduct capability and concept development;Conduct requirements analysis and development;Conduct design and architecture development;Conduct supporting and related engineering services; andConduct review of contract deliverables.Required outputs:
Requirement specificationsDesign documents and specialist engineering reportsV&V plans, procedures, and reportsHazard analyses and reportsEMI/EMC/TEMPEST certificationContract documentation, plans, and reports.Plans and reportsWhat we would expect from you: Australian citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA security clearance at the NV1 levelMinimum 5 years of engineering experience with an EMI/EMC environmentPrevious experience working in the CASG or SPO environments (highly regarded).Have excellent interpersonal and relationship building skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsBe a team player with a can-do attitudeAPPLY NOW
