You will ensure all customers receive the support and guidance and understand the compensability and reasons behind a claim outcome. How you'll make an impact  On a day to day basis you will: Manage a condensed portfolio of complex and scheme critical claims.Conduct eligibility assessments by reviewing and evaluating complex claims, medical records, legal documents, and supporting documentation to determine if individuals meet the established eligibility criteria. They will conduct thorough assessments and make informed decisions regarding claim eligibility.To be a subject matter expert (SME) on Eligibility and Compensability within the team. To assist with claim strategies and interventions where required. Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical knowledge and skills.Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and engage with all areas of the business to support the ever evolving nature of eligibility. About you We are interested in hearing from people who have: Demonstrated experience in complex claims management or a related field.Strong knowledge of complex claims eligibility criteria and processes.Bachelor degree in the Insurance, Legal Studies, or Healthcare industry is highly desirable Demonstrated knowledge of the Return to Work Act and its application is desirable, but not essential Demonstrated knowledge of relevant acts, legislation and work health benefits is desirable, but not essential Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills as well as a team player attitudeDemonstrated high levels of autonomy with a learning mindset.Experience working within a dynamic fast paced environment Working with us: GB values its employees and offers a friendly, comfortable working environment that facilitates a Work and Life Balance!
