SEME Solutions is a large electronic security, and healthcare services company. We are positioned to be able to service Queensland and further due to our amazing people and the products we produce, as well as our offices located predominantly in Mackay and Brisbane.
Due to our continued growth, we are looking for Senior Security/Telecommunications Technician superstar to join our Rockhampton team.
The work is diverse and includes the mining, commercial, industrial and government sectors plus more. The position is permanently based in Rockhampton and relocation assistance may be available for the right applicant.
The work will encompass a range of different sites in this area, attending to:
Service breakdowns and rectifying faults. Carry out general and routine maintenance. Minor project/installation works. Rostered after hours service calls paid above industry standards. The role will require someone that is a self-starter with great customer service skills and can work independently where required.
The role would also be suited to someone in a similar field such as data or electrical, who is wanting to broaden their horizons and knowledge in a leading company. The ideal candidate would possess knowledge in some or all the following areas:
Installation, maintenance, and repair of various electronic security equipment and systems;CCTV Access Control Intruder Detection Intercom Nursecall Systems Experience and ability to service, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electronic security systems. Experience and strong understanding of Commercial, integrated Access Control and IP CCTV systems is preferred. Formal certification is not required for work commencement. Understanding of systems inspection, examination, tuning and testing of security equipment and to diagnose faults. Advising users of system functionality and training for end users. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability and willingness to learn new skills and technologies. (Formal and on-the-job System training provided by SEME).

Required Qualifications:
Qualified / Experienced as;Telecommunications Technician Security Technician Electrician Electronics Technician QLD Security Providers Licence (Or able to obtain). Open Cablers Registration (or willing to obtain). Current QLD Class C drivers Licence. EWP certifications/Working at heights (or willing to obtain). National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain). Legal working rights to work in Australia without sponsorship. Please note that this role is location specific and is not offered as a FIFO position.
