Senior Electrical Project Engineer – Deeside – Plant Based – Days Role – £53-64k + 10% pension contribution + quarterly bonus + 28 days annual leave + Bank Holidays
Samuel Frank is recruiting for an experienced, electrically biased Senior Project Engineer to work on a large plant in the Deeside area.
The Senior level Project Engineer role will suit someone with heavy industry experience.
Key aspects of the Senior Electrical Project Engineer role include:
Prepare detailed governance structure, project plans and progress reports.
Lead and manage a team of Project Engineers, Design Engineers, and contractor employees.
Develop detailed engineering requirements and specifications for plant/process improvements with supporting risk assessments, management of change documentation, process safety considerations, and hazard/operability considerations (HAZOP).
Responsible for day-to-day management of the drawing office team and the project support team.
Strong project management skills (ideally PRINCE2) – the company will arrange for you to attend PRINCE2 training if required.
Degree qualification strongly preferred.
Experience in the planning and implementation of capital projects, along with experience in the management and control of external contractor personnel, is desirable.
Successful Senior Electrical Project Engineer should be able to demonstrate excellent budget management skills.
Demonstrate excellent Health, Safety, and Environmental Management & Legislation knowledge.
The company will also cover professional body subscriptions and will encourage and support team members to gain Chartered status.
Salary range of £53-64k includes an uplift of a set amount of prepaid annual overtime hours.
Officially the hours are 8.30am-4.45pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am-3.45pm on a Friday, but Engineers often start earlier and finish earlier, so there's some flexibility.
The site is going through a large phase of investment and offers team members a generous package including a quarterly bonus scheme which, if hit, pays quarterly, potentially adding an extra £5-8k per year on top of your basic.
