Our company is currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong design experience and excellent project management skills.
Responsibilities: Provide engineering design on electrical engineering projects. Manage and assist with work on all phases of various electrical engineering projects. Coordinate with the design team to incorporate design intent into construction documentation and specifications. Work with the design team and project managers during construction to respond to questions, provide clarifications, and solve issues. Meet with clients, regulators, and agencies to develop professional relationships. Maintain project document files, including meeting notes, financial information, and client correspondence. Prepare and ensure accuracy of technical documents through Quality Assurance reviews. Participate in planning, cost development, and management, and scheduling for assigned projects. Participate in marketing and business development activities, including development of project proposals and providing technical expertise. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering from an accredited four-year college or university. Registered Engineer; licensure in the state of Tennessee is strongly preferred. Ability to obtain professional engineering registration in several states. Minimum of ten (10) to fifteen (15) years' experience as an electrical engineer. Project Management Experience on design/build projects. Demonstrated experience using Revit Structure and AutoCAD. Knowledge of electrical engineer principles, practices, and techniques. Complete understanding of integrated Construction Documents. Demonstrated technical writing ability. LEED Accreditation is a plus. Ability to use technology to work with others on the design team. Ability to demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to interact professionally and comfortably and build and maintain excellent interpersonal relationships. Proven team mentality and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated experience with client interaction and work in a team environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
