Role description:Due to consistent growth in our Transportation business, a position has become available within our growing team.
We are currently looking for a Senior Electrical Surveillance Officer to join our Melbourne office.
Reporting directly to the Independent Assurance Representative, Senior Project Engineer, MEI Zone Lead or Construction Manager, this role will be responsible for assisting in the resolution of complex technical issues, interfacing with delivery partners to achieve efficient and technically sound outcomes, and providing mentoring to the site team, where applicable.
Ensure compliance with standards, specifications, and relevant Government legislation.
Role accountabilities:Verifying compliance of electrical works with project documents by conducting a risk-based quality surveillance program.HV and LV substation installations and commissioning.Independent Certification of Building Services and commissioning.Verifying construction works are built in accordance with IFC documentation.Verifying the RFIs and NCRs are being compliantly incorporated into the construction works.Monitoring, assessing, and reporting on construction quality and progress.Ensuring early identification of potential technical issues on site.Resolving complex technical issues on site.Ensuring that the latest versions of drawings are being used by delivery partners.Coaching and development of fellow technicians and engineers on site.Developing and maintaining professional relationships with delivery partners.Promoting a culture of continuous innovation and improvement.Engaging in Continuing Professional Development (CPD).Performing other duties and responsibilities as required by your manager or Arcadis.Ensuring familiarity and compliance with Health and Safety regulations and guidelines.Qualifications & Experience:First and foremost, you share our passion for improving the quality of life and want to be part of city-shaping projects that change the way we move around our capital.
You will come to us with:
Relevant construction services background or equivalent professional accreditation.Victorian Electricians License A Class.Construction project experience (including multi-discipline project delivery).Suitable qualification (HND/HNC or equivalent).10-15 years' minimum experience specifically in a construction supervision/verification environment.Proven high level proficiency in the understanding and application of Quality Management Systems.Ability to think in an innovative and solution-driven manner.Ability to lead a site team, as applicable.Why Arcadis?We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
