Your role will include: Mentoring and leading junior and mid-level staff to deliver complex technical tasks. Leading and contributing to winning work within the team's skillset, and for the wider Aurecon group. Providing engineering solutions from concept design through to detail design, including consultation. Assisting the construction phase by providing ongoing design support. Working with the team to put together design tenders. Aurecon's Energy team in NSW is recognised for its innovative and sustainable solutions in the energy sector. Comprising diverse professionals, they specialise in renewable energy development, energy efficiency, and infrastructure optimisation. By leveraging cutting-edge technology and local expertise, the team collaborates with clients to navigate the evolving energy landscape, ensuring projects align with regulatory and sustainability goals.
What are we looking for from you? Alongside your industry experience in similar engineering consulting or equivalent roles, you'll also have:
A relevant tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering, and an in-depth knowledge of the Australian standard and industry guidelines. A strong understanding of electrical engineering and protection coordination studies including HV and LV systems (including development of protection system drawings and protection setting reports, and configuration of protection relays on OEM software). Knowledge or experience with IEC61850. A current Australian drivers' licence. Demonstrated communication skills both written and verbal. What's in it for me?
