The role As the Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll take the lead in electrical safety and standards for Gippsland Water, as well as undertaking hands-on electrical design, site investigations, and works supervision.
You'll be involved with the planning, design, tendering, construction supervision, and commissioning of major infrastructure capital projects, along with supervising and mentoring the electrical engineer.
With a passion for continuous improvement, you'll drive the optimisation of our electrical assets and have an attention to detail for electrical drawings.
What you'll bring Tertiary qualification in electrical engineering.Current registration as a Professional Engineer in Victoria or eligible to obtain registration within six months.At least seven years electrical engineering experience in the water industry or related industry.Detailed knowledge of electrical standards and provision of technical advice at a high level.Demonstrated project management and risk management experience.Well-developed oral and written communication and presentation skills.Ability to use technical software packages for electrical engineering.Freedom We offer a variety of flexible arrangements to suit our employees' varied needs and the business, including purchased leave, varied start and finish times, working from alternative locations, and accrued days off.
