We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team based in Perth on a full-time basis.

The Role Developing and providing input to technical scopes of work. Ensuring technical integrity of deliverables through implementation of checking and design review activities. Identifying, designing, and performing risk-based technical assurance activities. Performing tender evaluations and clarifications. Working closely with a drafting team in the development of engineering drawings. Assisting with the preparation of proposals and developing and maintaining client relationships. Reviewing manufacturer's data reports and vendor documentation. Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to define requirements and develop solutions. Carrying out site inspections when required. Other duties as requested by the Principal Electrical Engineer. About You Minimum Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering. Australian recognized Electrical Engineering degree that satisfies the entry requirements for Chartered membership with Engineers Australia. Minimum 7 years of previous experience working within an engineering consultant environment. Excellent communication skills when working with cross-functional teams. Proven time management and project coordination skills. Proficient with PLC / Instrumentation and Controls / power systems software and LV control. In-depth knowledge of 'in-plant' electrical distribution (MV and LV systems) and motor control systems. Experience in concept design and detailed design of electrical systems. Must have proven experience leading projects and mentoring small teams of electrical engineering resources. A sound working knowledge of power system modeling. Applied knowledge of relevant standards including AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 61439, AS/NZS 3008.1.1, and AS/NZS 2067. Knowledge of mining and process plants.
